Slough Wildlife Control

Wildlife refers to a multitude of species of animal, from mammals like rats, mice and squirrels to other insects such as wasps and bees. Although many of these animals do not cause considerable harm to homes or plants, some can cause severe harm if they are present in large numbers. Wildlife control is a sophisticated process that can have large effects on the ecosystem of an area and therefore should only be undertaken with care by trained professionals.

Most wildlife control will begin with a survey of the species located in a certain area. This will give you information about which species are probably causing problems and which may need special care to be taken throughout the pest control treatment to avoid injuring them. If there are any protected species in the region it is illegal to cause injury or death to them, and so any pest control treatment must be sensitive to this.

Wildlife control is likely to also require deterrence measures such as secure fencing or the removal of any food source that a pest animal may be using. These measures are more humane than capturing or kiling pests, and could even be a great deal more effective as destroying pest animals may often not have an important impact on the pest population in an area.
