Wildlife describes a multitude of types of animal, from mammals like rats, mice and squirrels to other insects such as wasps and bees. Although many of these animals do not cause severe harm to homes or vegetation, some can cause severe harm if they are present in huge numbers. Wildlife control is a complicated procedure that can have considerable impacts on the ecosystem of an area and therefore should only be executed carefully by skilled pros.

Most wildlife control will start with a survey of the species present in a certain area. This will give you information about which species are possibly causing problems and which may need special care to be taken during the pest control treatment to avoid injuring them. If there are any protected species in the region it is illegal to cause injury or death to them, and so any pest control treatment must be sensitive to this.

Wildlife control will more than likely also involve deterrence measures such as fencing or the removal of any food source that a pest animal may be using. These measures are more humane than capturing or kiling pests, and may even be a great deal more effective as destroying pest animals may often not have a significant impact on the pest population in an area.
