Wildlife is the term for a selection of species of animal, from mammals like rats, mice and squirrels to other insects such as wasps and bees. While many of these animals do not cause significant harm to homes or crops, some can cause severe harm if they’re present in large numbers. Wildlife control is a sophisticated system that can have major effects on the ecosystem of a location and so should only be performed with care by skilled pros.

Most wildlife control begins with a survey of the species located in a certain area. This will give you information about which species are potentially causing problems and which may need special care to be taken throughout the treatment to avoid harming them. If there are any protected species in the area it is illegal to cause injury or death to them, and so any pest control treatment must be sensitive to this.

Wildlife control will more than likely also require deterrence measures such as fencing or the removal of any food source that a pest animal may be using. These measures tend to be more humane than capturing or kiling pests, and may even be significantly more effective as eradicating pest animals may often not have a significant impact on the population in an area.
