There is a variety of pests in the UK. Common household pests include cockroaches, ants, flies, moths, mice, rats and fleas. These pests all behave differently and will require different methods of treatment depending on both their species and the size and location of the infestation. Pests can cause damage to homes and property, contaminate food and could even spread diseases. In addition, pests are a nuisance, which means they affect your enjoyment of your property and cause stress to those affected. Small infestations could possibly be treated yourself, but large infestations or those that can spread diseases should be treated by specialist pest control companies.
Specialist pest control companies can help you with the most effective way to treat your pest infestation. This may consist of the application of poison bait, insecticides or traps to kill any mobile pests, as well as prevention methods such as cleaning the environment and eliminating any entry routes that the pests are employing. When selecting a pest control company, go for one that is certified by the British Pest Control Association.
The key to an effective pest control treatment is precise identification of the species that is causing the problem as different species will react differently to treatments. It’s also necessary to make sure that any food sources or access routes that the pests were utilising are removed and do not reoccur as it is possible that pests will reappear.

Catterick Garrison is a major garrison and town located three miles south of Richmond in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. The town lies within the Central Richmondshire electoral division of North Yorkshire County Council and divided between the Hipswell and Scotton wards of Richmondshire District Council. The town is divided in between two civil parishes. The southern part of the town, south of a small stream generally known as Leadmill Gill, is in the civil parish of Scotton. The northern part forms the greater part of the civil parish of Hipswell. Every parish has its own parish council. It is the largest British Army garrison in the world, having a population of about 13000 and measuring over 2400 acres. The original intention for Catterick was to be a temporary camp to accommodate two comprehensive divisions with about 40000 men in 2000 huts. However, under plans announced by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in November 2005, the population of Catterick Garrison is expected to grow to over 25000 by 2020, making it the biggest population centre inside the local area. Lacking a real town centre, the Garrison gained its 1st significant supermarket in 2000, in addition to a retail park called ‘Richmondshire Walk’, which also includes a McDonalds, a Poundstretcher and also a Peacocks, amongst others. ‘Catterick Leisure Centre’ is a purpose built complex opposite the retail park, opened in July 2009, and it offers a broad spectrum of leisure and fitness facilities which include a swimming pool, plus a fitness centre, and also an adjoining public library. For all of your house upgrades, make sure that you employ trustworthy professionals in Catterick Garrison to make sure that you get the most effective quality.
